Manage App Quick Freeze for Idle Apps auf Realme
Realme UI freezes apps you haven't used in a while to cut battery drain and unwanted background data usage. Once an app is frozen, it can no longer send or receive data, sync in the background, or trigger push notifications.
This is efficient for apps you rarely open, but it becomes a problem for messaging or calling apps. If a chat app gets frozen, new messages only arrive once you open the app yourself, since the frozen state blocks the background connection needed for instant push delivery.
To check or change which apps are affected, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Battery ➔ Tap on More battery settings ➔ Tap on App Quick Freeze. From there you can see the list of managed apps and Turn On/Off an App individually.
Turning the freeze off for a specific app keeps its background connection alive at all times, which is useful for messengers, VoIP apps, or anything that needs to notify you immediately. Keep in mind that exempting more apps will increase battery consumption, since those apps can run in the background without restriction.
If an app still misses notifications after you disable App Quick Freeze for it, also check that app's individual battery optimization and notification permissions, since multiple system settings can restrict background activity independently.
