Realme: Turn Screen Battery Optimization On or Off

Screen battery optimization on realme phones reduces the workload of the display by disabling certain visual effects and animations. This runs automatically whenever the phone switches into a lower power state, and it directly affects how the interface looks and feels.

Three modes control this behavior. Off keeps every animation and transition active, which uses more battery but gives the smoothest experience. Balanced Mode trims some effects while keeping the interface responsive. Super power saving mode goes further and strips most animations, which can make transitions feel abrupt but stretches battery life the most.

You find this setting through Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Battery ➔ Tap on More battery settings ➔ Tap on Screen Battery Optimization. From there, choose Off, Balance Mode, or Super power saving mode depending on how much visual smoothness you want to keep.

If animations already look choppy or colors seem washed out without you changing anything manually, check this menu first. The phone may have switched modes on its own once the battery dropped below a certain threshold.
