Block Mobile Data or Wi-Fi for a Single App auf Realme
On Realme phones, every installed app has its own network permission separate from the main Wi-Fi and mobile data switches. This is why an app can keep transferring data in the background even after you turned off mobile data system-wide, or why a media app suddenly refuses to load on Wi-Fi alone.
The control sits inside each app's data usage settings. Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on App management ➔ Tap on App list ➔ Choose an App ➔ Tap on Data usage details ➔ Turn On/Off Disable mobile data/Wi-Fi.
Disabling mobile data for an app blocks it from using cellular networks entirely, while leaving Wi-Fi access untouched. Disabling Wi-Fi does the opposite. This is useful for streaming or media apps that otherwise switch to mobile data automatically once a Wi-Fi signal drops, which can burn through a data plan without warning.
If an app still connects after you disabled one option, check whether a VPN or a data saver feature is overriding the setting. Restricting data access can also delay notifications or background syncing for that app, so only turn it off for apps where up-to-date background activity is not required.
