Turn On/Off Data Roaming auf Realme
Data roaming stays disabled by default on Realme phones running Realme UI to stop your SIM plan from racking up international data charges without warning. That protection also blocks mobile data completely whenever you leave your home network, even if the signal bar still shows full strength.
To enable it, open Settings ➔ SIM card & mobile data. On dual-SIM devices, pick the SIM you want to configure first. Then find the Data roaming switch and tap Turn on to confirm the extra charges warning.
Turning the switch off again blocks all mobile data the moment you leave your provider's home network, which is useful once you land back home or want to avoid accidental usage. If messengers or maps still fail to load after enabling roaming, check whether your provider needs separate APN settings, since some networks require manual APN entries before data roaming actually works.
If you only want to save data while you are at home, turning off mobile data entirely is a better fix than touching data roaming.
