Realme: Show or Hide Status Bar Icons

A status bar packed with icons for Bluetooth, alarm, NFC, and mobile data can bury the one piece of information you actually need. On many Realme phones several of these icons stay switched on by default even if you barely use the connection behind them. The status icons menu lets you turn each icon on or off on its own instead of living with a crowded display.

Show or Hide Status Bar Icons auf Realme

The status bar on a Realme phone shows several icons at once: signal strength, Wi-Fi, battery, alarm, Bluetooth, and more. Every one of these icons is controlled by a toggle inside the system settings, and Realme UI turns some of them on by default even for connections you rarely use.

When the status bar feels cluttered or an icon you need is missing, the fix sits in one dedicated menu. Open SettingsNotifications & status barStatus icons and turn each option on or off individually.

Switching an icon off only hides it from the status bar. The underlying function, like Bluetooth or NFC, keeps working in the background and can still be controlled from Quick Settings or the respective settings page.

If notifications themselves stop showing up rather than just their icons, the cause usually sits in app-specific notification permissions instead of this menu. Disabling too many icons at once can also make it harder to notice low battery or a lost connection, so keep the icons you rely on daily switched on.

Frequently asked questions

No. Hiding an icon under Status icons only removes it from the status bar. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or NFC keep running and can still be toggled from Quick Settings.
