Set Up a VPN Connection auf Realme
A VPN reroutes your phone's traffic through an external server before it reaches the internet. That hides your real IP address, encrypts data on unsecured networks, and can bypass regional content locks that block streaming or websites based on location.
Realme UI does not include a preset VPN. You have to add a server profile manually with the correct connection data from your provider, such as server address, account credentials, and the protocol type. Without that data saved correctly, the connection will fail to establish or drop after a few minutes.
To add a profile, open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Connection & sharing ➔ Tap on VPN ➔ Tap on Add. Enter the corresponding data from your VPN provider and confirm with Enter the Corresponding data and tap Save.
Once saved, the profile appears in the VPN list and can be switched on or off without re-entering the details. If the connection still fails afterward, double-check the server address and login data first, since a wrong character there is the most common cause of a failed handshake.
