Auto Switch to Mobile Data auf Realme
When a saved Wi-Fi network gets weak, many realme phones stay connected instead of falling back to mobile data. This causes stalled downloads, delayed messages, and calls that never connect, even though the mobile network shows full bars nearby. The behavior is controlled by a setting called Wi-Fi Assistant, which is disabled by default because using mobile data instead of Wi-Fi can add to your data usage.
Where to find the switch
Open Settings ➔ Wi-Fi ➔ Advanced settings ➔ Wi-Fi Assistant and enable or disable Auto switch to mobile network. Once enabled, your phone monitors signal strength on connected Wi-Fi networks and switches to mobile data automatically when the connection becomes too weak for stable browsing or calls.
Turn this off again if you are on a limited mobile data plan and prefer to stay on Wi-Fi even when the signal is poor. Also disable it while traveling abroad to avoid unexpected roaming charges triggered by an automatic switch. The setting has no effect on airplane mode or on networks that are not saved in your Wi-Fi list.
