Turn Dark Mode On or Off in Samsung Internet auf Samsung
Samsung Internet has its own dark mode switch that works independently from the system-wide dark theme on your phone. Turning on dark mode for the whole device changes app icons, menus, and the Settings app, but it does not automatically force every website inside the browser to render dark.
To change the setting directly in the app, go to Tap on Internet ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Dark/Light mode. This toggle controls both the browser interface itself, such as the address bar and menu, and how compatible web pages display their colors.
Once enabled, Samsung Internet asks supported websites to switch to a dark color scheme. Sites built with a prefers-color-scheme style will follow along, showing dark backgrounds and light text. Pages that do not support this will keep their original bright design regardless of the toggle, since Samsung Internet cannot force dark colors onto every layout.
If you want dark mode everywhere, including apps outside the browser, use the system-wide dark theme in your device settings instead. Switching that on usually pulls Samsung Internet into dark mode as well, though the in-app toggle still lets you turn the browser back to light mode independently if you prefer a bright browser while keeping the rest of the phone dark.
