Turn On/Off Dialing Keypad Vibration auf Samsung
Dialing keypad vibration adds a short haptic pulse every time you tap a number on the dial pad before placing a call. It is separate from vibration for incoming calls, notifications, or the keyboard, so changing other vibration settings does not affect it.
This feedback comes from the same system vibration engine that One UI uses for touch sounds and haptics across the phone. If the master vibration control is switched off, the dialing keypad option has no effect even when enabled, since the whole haptic engine is disabled at system level.
Where to change it
Open Settings ➔ tap Sounds and vibration ➔ tap System sound/vibration control ➔ enable or disable Dialing keypad.
Turning this off helps if you dial numbers in quiet environments and the buzzing feels distracting, or if you want to shave a small amount off battery use over many calls. Leave it on if you rely on tactile confirmation that a key press registered, especially when dialing without looking at the screen.
If vibration still does not change after toggling the switch, check that the phone is not in a silent or extreme power saving mode, since those can mute all haptics regardless of this individual setting.
