Show or Hide Music Info on Always On Display auf Samsung
Samsung phones can mirror the currently playing track on the Always On Display, but only when a media app is actively streaming audio in the background. Apps like Spotify, YouTube Music or the built-in Music app trigger this display automatically once the setting is turned on.
If the song title and artist never appear, the Show music information option inside the Always On Display settings is likely switched off. Enabling it does not start playback on its own; it only tells the system to surface metadata from whatever app is already playing sound.
To change this behavior, go to Settings ➔ Lock screen ➔ Always On Display ➔ Enable or disable Show music information.
Turning the toggle on adds the track name to the Always On Display whenever music plays through a supported app. Turning it off removes that text again, which is useful if you find the extra line distracting or want a cleaner lock screen.
If music info still does not show after enabling the setting, check that the Always On Display itself is active and that the streaming app is not restricted by battery optimization, since that can stop it from reporting playback data to the system.
