Remove a Folder from the Home Screen auf Samsung
On Samsung phones running One UI, a folder on the home screen is treated as a single icon, not as a system object with its own settings page. That is why there is no dedicated "Delete folder" option inside any app or settings menu.
The folder itself only exists as a shortcut container. Removing it does not delete the apps inside, it only removes the grouping and puts nothing back in its place unless you had free space reserved.

Tap and hold a Folder ➔ Tap on Remove
This works the same way as removing a single app icon from the home screen. If the folder still contains apps, those apps are placed back onto the home screen as individual icons instead of being uninstalled.
If you actually want to uninstall the apps rather than just ungroup them, do that separately from the app drawer or from Settings ➔ Apps. Removing the folder alone never deletes app data.
