Schedule Auto Restart Times auf Samsung
Background processes, cached data, and long uptime periods gradually slow Android devices down. Samsung's Auto restart at set times feature reboots the phone on its own at a time you pick, clearing temporary memory and stopping stuck processes before they build up.
Where to find the setting
The option lives inside device care, not the general settings list. Go to Settings ➔ Battery and device care ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Automation ➔ Auto restart at set times.
Turn on Turn On/Off Auto restart at set times, then use Set the Days and Time for auto restart to choose the weekdays and the time you want the reboot to happen.
The restart does not fire at the exact minute you selected. Samsung reserves a window of up to one hour after that time to reboot, so it can wait for an idle moment instead of interrupting active use.
This automation works best for phones that stay powered on for days without a manual reboot, such as a secondary device or one used mainly for calls. If slowdowns are tied to one specific app rather than general uptime, clearing that app's cache or checking its background permissions usually fixes the problem faster than waiting for the next scheduled restart.
