Add Extra Contact Details auf Xiaomi
The default contact card in MIUI only shows a name and phone number by default. Fields like birthday, nickname, relationship, or website exist in the contact editor but stay hidden until you open a separate menu for extra fields.
To add them, open Tap on Contacts ➔ Choose a Contact ➔ Tap on Edit contact ➔ Tap on More fields. This reveals the full list of optional detail fields, including Call sign, IM Address, Nickname, Internet call, Relationship, Website, and Birthday.
Filling in a field
Tap Tap on a Detail field, then use Enter the Corresponding data and tap Save to store the entry. Each field saves independently, so you can add just a birthday now and come back later for a website or nickname.
These extra fields are visible in the contact card afterward and can show up in call and messaging apps that pull additional contact data, such as displaying a nickname instead of the saved name. If a field does not appear under More fields, the contact may be synced from an account type that limits which fields MIUI can edit locally.
