Set Always-on Display Duration auf Xiaomi
The Always-on display on Xiaomi phones has two independent settings that often get confused. One is the schedule, which controls when the feature turns on or off during the day. The other is the display duration, which decides how long the screen actually stays lit once it is triggered.
By default, many devices show the Always-on display for about 10 seconds after you tap the screen, then turn it off again to save battery. If you want the clock and info to stay visible the entire time your phone is locked or in standby, you need to switch to the permanent option instead.
To change this, open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Always-on display & Lock screen ➔ Tap on Always-on display ➔ Tap on Display items ➔ Choose an option. From here you pick either the short tap-triggered preview or the always-visible mode.
Keep in mind that permanent display drains more battery than the tap-triggered version, since the screen stays partially lit for longer stretches. If battery life matters more than constant visibility, the 10-second option is the better trade-off. If you mainly want to glance at the time without touching the phone, permanent mode is more practical.
