Bedtime Mode: Turn On or Off auf Xiaomi
Bedtime mode sits inside the Digital Wellbeing tools on Xiaomi phones and runs separately from Do Not Disturb. It only mutes calls and notifications and switches the screen to grayscale once you tell it when your night actually starts, so an unset schedule is the main reason it stays inactive.
Open Settings ➔ Digital Wellbeing & parental controls ➔ Bedtime mode. Here you choose between two triggers: Based on schedule or While charging at bedtime. The first option activates strictly by clock time, the second one waits until the phone is plugged in during your usual sleep hours, which helps if your bedtime shifts often.
After picking a trigger, set the Start / End time and the remaining options, such as whether calls should still get through or the grayscale filter should apply. Grayscale reduces how much the screen pulls your attention, but it also makes some notification icons harder to read at a glance.
If you only want to silence the phone occasionally instead of every night, a scheduled Do Not Disturb rule is usually the better fit than reconfiguring Bedtime mode each time.
