Hide or Show Caller ID auf Xiaomi
By default, your Xiaomi phone transmits your number to whoever you call, based on the setting your network operator stores on the SIM card. That is why the same phone can show a hidden number with one SIM and a visible number with another, especially on dual-SIM devices. The caller ID option in MIUI lets you override that operator default per SIM card.
Open the following menu path to change it:
Phone ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Calling accounts ➔ Advanced settings ➔ Caller ID ➔ pick a SIM card if you have dual SIM ➔ Caller ID ➔ choose Network default, Hide number or Show number.
Network default restores whatever your operator originally set. Hide number sends every outgoing call as private. Show number forces your number to display even if the operator normally hides it.
Because this setting is stored on the SIM, it travels with the card if you move it to another phone. Swapping SIMs or getting a replacement card can reset the choice back to Network default, so it is worth checking after any SIM change.
