Change Device Name auf Xiaomi
Xiaomi phones use the model name as the device name by default. This name appears instead of a MAC address whenever your phone shows up in a Bluetooth pairing list, a Wi-Fi Hotspot search, or a file-sharing app. If you own several Xiaomi devices, or just want a name that means something to you, the generic model label makes it hard to pick the right device quickly.
MIUI stores the device name under the phone's system information, separate from your Google account name or Mi account name. Changing it here updates how the phone appears to other devices during Bluetooth pairing and Hotspot connections, but it does not change your account name or app profile.
Where to change the device name
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on About phone ➔ Tap on Device name ➔ Enter a Name and tap Save. The new name takes effect immediately, so the next Bluetooth scan or Hotspot search from another device shows the updated label.
If you rename the device mainly to fix Bluetooth pairing issues, keep in mind that already-paired devices may still show the old name until you forget and re-pair them.
