Delete Photos or Videos from Gallery auf Xiaomi
Photos and videos accumulate quickly in the Gallery app, especially after screenshots, downloads, and camera bursts. Once internal storage runs low, deleting unneeded media is the fastest fix without touching system settings.
The Gallery app lets you remove single items or select several at once, which saves time when clearing out duplicates or old screenshots. This works the same way whether you are freeing up space or just tidying your library.
Steps to delete photos or videos
Open Tap on Gallery and locate the photo or video you want to remove. Press and hold the thumbnail to activate selection mode.
Tap and hold a Photo/Video ➔ Select more Photos/Videos if you want to remove multiple files in one go. Tap any additional thumbnails to add them to the selection.
Once everything is marked, confirm with Tap on Delete ➔ Tap on Delete to finish the removal.
Deleted items usually move to a recently-deleted folder for a limited time before permanent removal, so accidental deletions can often still be recovered shortly after.
