Route a Contact Straight to Voicemail auf Xiaomi
Direct routing to voicemail lets you silence calls from one contact without blocking them completely. The person still reaches your mailbox, but your phone never rings for their calls.
This differs from a full block, which rejects the call and often hides the caller entirely. Routing to voicemail is the better option when you still want to receive messages, just not live calls, for example from a persistent salesperson or a contact in a different time zone.
Turn it on or off
Open Tap on Contacts ➔ Choose a Contact ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Enable or disable Route to voicemail. The setting applies only to that contact and takes effect immediately for future calls.
If the contact still rings after enabling this, check that you edited the correct saved entry and not a duplicate contact card. Duplicate contacts with the same number can each carry their own setting.
Keep in mind this setting lives on the device, not in the cloud. If you switch phones or restore contacts from a backup that does not include app-specific flags, you may need to set it again.
