Turn On or Off Find My Device auf Xiaomi
Find My Device on Xiaomi phones relies on a system-level toggle that lets your device share its location with your Google Account. If this option is off, Google's Find My Device search will show the phone as offline or unavailable, even if it still has battery and a signal.
You manage this setting directly on the phone, not through the Google app. Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Passwords & security ➔ Tap on Privacy ➔ Tap on Find My Device ➔ Enable or disable Find My Device.
Turning it on means location, lock, and remote-wipe requests from another device work through your Google Account as soon as the phone connects to mobile data or Wi-Fi. Turning it off stops that reporting immediately, which is useful for privacy but removes your ability to trace the phone if it is lost or stolen afterward.
If the phone is already missing and this toggle was never enabled, remote location will not work, no matter what you try from another device. In that case, checking your mobile carrier's own device-tracking service or filing a police report with the IMEI number is the more realistic path forward.
Battery saver modes on MIUI can sometimes restrict background location reporting even when the toggle is on. If Find My Device shows an outdated location, check that battery optimization is not restricting the relevant system services.
