Force Stop an Unresponsive App auf Xiaomi
Some apps keep running in the background even after you swipe them away from recent apps. This happens when the app ignores the normal close signal, often due to a stuck process, a pending sync, or a bug in the app itself.
Force stopping ends the app process immediately at the system level. It works differently from closing an app the usual way, because it also clears any temporary background tasks the app was running.
On MIUI you can force stop any app through the app management settings:
Settings ➔ Apps ➔ Manage apps ➔ Choose an app ➔ Force stop ➔ OK
Use this only when an app is unresponsive, draining the battery, or not reacting to a normal close. Force stopping an app with unsaved input, an active upload, or a running timer can cause that data to be lost or the app to behave incorrectly the next time you open it.
If the same app needs force stopping repeatedly, the issue usually lies with the app itself rather than the phone. Reinstalling the app or checking for an update is often more effective than force stopping it every time.
