Forward an SMS Message auf Xiaomi
Retyping an address or phone number from a text message wastes time and can introduce errors. MIUI lets you forward the original message instead, keeping the wording exactly as it was sent.
Open Messages and select the conversation that contains the message you want to share. Tap and hold the message until a menu appears, then open that menu and tap Forward.
Full path: Tap on Messages ➔ Choose a Conversation ➔ Tap and hold a Message ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Forward ➔ Choose a Conversation or tap on New message ➔ Choose a Contact ➔ Tap on Send.
You can forward the message into an existing conversation or start a new one by picking a different contact. The forwarded text keeps its original wording, so details such as codes, addresses or numbers stay accurate without manual retyping.
Forwarding works the same way across MIUI versions and does not depend on the underlying Android release. If you only need part of a message, long-press the text and use the copy option instead of forwarding the whole thing.
