Raise to Wake: Turn On or Off auf Xiaomi
Raise to wake is a motion-based screen trigger in MIUI. The built-in accelerometer detects the lifting motion and turns the display on automatically, without you pressing the power button.
The setting sits inside the lock screen options, separate from other display triggers, so you can switch it on or off without touching anything else.
To enable or disable it, open Settings ➔ Always-on display & Lock screen and toggle Raise to wake.
Once active, every pickup motion wakes the screen, even short ones like pulling the phone out of a pocket. This can slightly affect battery life because the motion sensor keeps monitoring in the background, and it can also cause unwanted wake-ups when the phone shifts inside a bag.
If you only want notifications visible without a full wake on every movement, Always-on display shows information without turning the screen fully on, and double-tap to wake gives you a deliberate gesture instead of automatic motion detection.
