Schedule Always-on Display auf Xiaomi
MIUI controls the Always-on display through a single toggle by default, which either shows it constantly or keeps it off. A schedule replaces that fixed behavior with your own on and off times, so the display elements only appear during the hours you actually need them.
This matters because an always-active display draws extra power on the lock screen, even in standby. Scheduling it to switch off overnight or during work hours reduces unnecessary screen time without disabling the feature completely.
Where to set the schedule
Open Settings ➔ Always-on display & Lock screen ➔ Show items ➔ Display items ➔ Scheduled. From there, tap Turn on / off to set the beginning and the end time for the Always-on display.
The same screen also lets you decide whether the display should stay active once Battery saver mode is triggered. If you leave that option enabled, the schedule keeps running even when the phone is low on battery. Turning it off means the Always-on display shuts down automatically as soon as battery saver activates, regardless of your set times.
If the display never turns on at all, check first whether Always-on display is enabled globally before troubleshooting the schedule itself.
