Change the Always-on Display Clock Style auf Xiaomi
The clock style on the Always-on display is a separate setting from the Always-on display toggle itself, which is why it is easy to miss. MIUI treats the clock face as a customization layer that sits on top of the always-on feature, so enabling the display alone only gives you the default digital number.
To change it, open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Always-on display & Lock screen ➔ Tap on Always-on display ➔ Choose a clock style ➔ Set more options and tap Apply. Each style offers a different balance between analog and digital display, and some include extra info like date or battery percentage.
If a style looks cut off or overlaps the notch area, switch to a simpler digital option, since detailed analog faces need more screen space. This setting is available on both current and older MIUI generations, though the exact wording of a submenu label can shift slightly between updates.
If the Always-on display itself does not turn on at all, the clock style menu will not be reachable, so check that toggle first before troubleshooting the style selection.
