Share a Contact via Message or App auf Xiaomi
Sharing a contact directly from the Contacts app prevents transcription errors that happen when you read out a phone number over the phone or manually copy an email address into a message.
On Xiaomi devices running MIUI, the share function bundles the saved fields, such as name, number and email, into a single file and lets you send it through any messaging or email app installed on the phone.
To share a contact, open Contacts, then tap on the person you want to send. From the contact's profile, open the Menu and tap on Share. Select the contact details you want to include and tap Continue. Choose an app to share the contact, for example a messenger, email client or Bluetooth.
The recipient gets a file their phone can import directly into their own contacts list, so no manual entry is needed on either end.
This method works the same way whether you share a single number or several fields like company, address or notes attached to the contact.
If the Share option is missing from the menu, check whether the Contacts app has a pending update, since older versions sometimes hide this entry behind a different label.
