Quick Settings Panel Guide auf Xiaomi
On Xiaomi phones the Quick Settings panel is split into two layers. The first swipe down from the top of the screen shows only a handful of tiles, while a second swipe reveals the rest, including brightness controls and less common toggles like Hotspot or Screen recorder.
This layout saves screen space but often hides the exact tile you need, especially right after a MIUI update when the tile order resets or a new toggle appears in a different position.
To reach any toggle, use this path:
Swipe downwards to open the Control center ➔ Swipe downwards to access more quick settings ➔ Enable or disable the desired feature/function
If a feature is not listed at all in either layer, it usually has to be enabled once from the full settings app before it appears as a tile. Once activated there, the toggle shows up in Quick Settings and can be switched on or off directly from the panel afterward.
For features you use daily, moving the tile closer to the first swipe-down layer through the edit mode saves repeated swiping.
