Uninstall an App auf Xiaomi
Storage warnings on a Xiaomi phone usually point to apps that are installed but rarely used. Removing them frees up space and reduces background activity, since an installed app can keep syncing or caching data even when it is not open.
Uninstalling is different from simply hiding an icon on the home screen. A shortcut removal only clears the launcher entry, while a real uninstall deletes the app package together with its saved data, logins, and local files. That data cannot be restored afterward, so back up anything important first.
The reliable way to remove an app on MIUI is through the system settings rather than the home screen, especially when multiple apps need to go at once: Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Apps ➔ Tap on Manage apps ➔ Tap on Uninstall ➔ Select one or more apps ➔ Tap on Uninstall ➔ Tap on OK.
This path also works when an app has no visible uninstall option from its home screen icon, which happens with some preinstalled apps. If an app cannot be uninstalled at all, it is likely a system component that can only be disabled instead of removed.
