Add a Print Service auf Android
Android handles printing through a modular print framework. Each print service works like a driver, letting the system detect printers on your Wi-Fi network or over Bluetooth and convert print jobs into a format the printer can process.
Without the matching print service installed, the print dialog only offers Android's built-in default service. Printers from other manufacturers, especially those using their own protocols, can stay invisible or produce incomplete print jobs as a result.
To add a print service, use this path:
Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Connected devices ➔ Tap on Connection preferences ➔ Tap on Printing ➔ Tap on Add service ➔ Choose a Print service ➔ Tap on Install
Once installed, the service appears under Printing and can be switched on or off individually. If the printer still does not appear, confirm that phone and printer share the same Wi-Fi network, or that Bluetooth pairing finished correctly.
Installing a manufacturer-specific service usually fixes cases where features like duplex printing or specific paper trays are not controllable through the default service alone.
