Turn Colour Correction On or Off auf Android
Colour correction shifts how the display renders reds, greens, and blues so people with common colour vision deficiencies can tell UI elements, notifications, and app icons apart more easily.
The setting sits inside the accessibility tools, grouped with other visual adjustments like contrast and motion. To reach it: Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Accessibility ➔ Tap on Color and motion ➔ Tap on Color correction ➔ Enable or disable Use color correction ➔ Choose a Correction mode.
Android offers separate correction modes because colour vision deficiencies affect different colour pairs. Deuteranomaly and Protanomaly both relate to red-green perception, while a third mode targets blue-yellow issues. Selecting the wrong mode can distort colours that were already accurate for you, so testing each option on a photo or coloured icon helps confirm the right fit.
If the screen already looks fine but specific apps display low-contrast text, adjusting contrast or enabling a darker theme may solve the problem faster than colour correction. Turning the filter off restores the original colour palette everywhere on the device.
