Turn On/Off Do Not Disturb auf Android
Do Not Disturb silences every sound and vibration on your Android phone, including calls, messages and app alerts. It kicks in the moment you enable it and stays active until you switch it off again or a scheduled end time is reached, if you set one.
You reach the full controls through Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Sound & vibration ➔ Tap on Do Not Disturb ➔ Turn on/off Do Not Disturb. This menu also lets you add exceptions, so calls from starred contacts, alarms or repeated calls still get through while everything else stays muted.
The faster route is the Quick Settings panel. Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Do Not Disturb tile to toggle it without opening the Settings app at all.
Use Do Not Disturb when you need complete silence for a fixed period, like a meeting or overnight. If you only want to filter specific app notifications while keeping other sounds active, a per-app notification setting is usually the better fix. One side effect worth remembering: without exceptions configured, even urgent calls from family or work stay silent until you turn the mode off.
