Turn On Flashlight auf Android
The flashlight on Android phones uses the LED next to your rear camera, not a dedicated bulb. That LED is controlled through the quick settings panel, the same shortcut area where you find Wi-Fi and Bluetooth toggles.
To turn it on, swipe down from the top of the screen. On most phones this means Swipe downwards with two fingers to open the full quick settings grid, then tap Enable or disable Flashlight. A single-finger swipe often only reveals a shortened notification shade without the flashlight tile, so use two fingers if you only see notifications.
Why the flashlight sometimes will not turn on
If the tile is greyed out, another app is already using the camera hardware, since the flash and camera share the same LED. Close any camera or video-calling app running in the background and try again.
Battery saver modes on some devices also restrict flash usage to protect the LED from overheating during long use. If the flashlight shuts off after a few minutes, this protection is likely stepping in rather than a hardware fault.
For quick access without unlocking your phone, check whether your lock screen has a flashlight shortcut. Not every phone offers this, but where it exists it saves you from swiping down twice.
