Forward a Message auf Android
Google Messages hides the forward action inside a long-press menu, which is why many users only find the copy or delete options at first. The feature works the same for single texts and for messages that already contain a photo or file, since Messages treats the forward as resending the original content rather than typing it again.
To forward a message, open the app and tap Tap on Messages. Select the conversation that contains the message with Choose a Conversation, then press and hold the specific message using Tap and hold a Message. A small toolbar appears above or below the bubble.
From that toolbar, use Open the Menu to reveal the additional options, then tap Tap on Forward. Messages now asks where the content should go. You can either pick an existing thread with Choose a Conversation or start a fresh one with or tap on New message, which opens the contact picker.
If the long-press menu closes without showing a forward icon, you likely tapped a blank area of the bubble instead of the text itself. Selecting text inside the message for editing is a different action and will not trigger the forward menu.
