Power Button Ends Call Setting auf Android
The Power button ends call option lives inside the Accessibility settings on Android and gives you a second way to finish a call without touching the display at all.
Normally, hanging up means tapping a red button on the touchscreen. If the screen is cracked, wet, or simply slow to respond in one spot, that tap can fail exactly when you need it most. Turning this setting on lets the physical power button on the side of the phone act as a reliable backup for ending calls.
To switch it on or off:
Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Accessibility ➔ Tap on System controls ➔ Enable or disable Power button ends call
Once enabled, a short press of the power button during an active call disconnects it right away, the same way tapping the on-screen hang-up button does. Outside of calls, the power button keeps its usual job of locking the screen or waking the phone, so nothing else changes.
Switch the setting back off if you notice yourself accidentally ending calls while shifting your grip on the phone, since the power button sits close to where many people naturally hold the device during a call.
