Turn Off the Screen Lock Sound auf Android
The screen locking sound comes from a single toggle inside the sound and vibration settings, separate from your notification tones or ringtone. It plays through the main speaker whenever the display locks or wakes, which is why it stands out in quiet rooms, meetings, or at night.
This sound is not tied to Do Not Disturb or Focus modes. Turning on a Focus profile mutes calls and notifications, but the lock sound keeps playing unless you disable it separately in the sound settings.
To turn it off, go to Settings ➔ Sound & vibration ➔ and toggle off Screen locking sound. Toggling it back on restores the click on every lock and unlock.
If you still hear a sound after disabling this option, check whether keyboard sounds or touch sounds are turned on separately, since those live in the same menu but control different actions.
Muting the phone or lowering media volume does not affect this sound, because it uses the system sound channel. The toggle in Sound & vibration is the only reliable way to turn it off.
