Sort Call History by First or Last Name auf Android
The Google Phone app on Android stores every call and message entry in the order contacts are saved, not necessarily in the order you expect to see them. If your contacts mix first-name and last-name entries, the call history can look inconsistent even though nothing is broken.
The setting responsible for this is the display order option inside the Phone app itself, separate from any sorting option in the Contacts app. Changing it only affects how the call list and history are displayed, not how contacts are stored on your device or in your Google account.
To change it: Tap on Phone ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Display options ➔ Tap on Sort by ➔ Select First name or Last name.
If entries still look mixed up after switching this, check how individual contacts are saved. A contact stored with only one name field, or with the name typed in the wrong field, will not reorder correctly even if the sort setting is right.
