Turn On/Off Sound Amplifier auf Android
Sound Amplifier is an Accessibility feature that boosts and filters audio for connected headphones. It works on music, videos, and calls, and it can reduce background noise or balance left/right channels for hearing comfort.
The feature does not turn on by itself. You need to enable its shortcut first, otherwise the volume button gesture or notification tile stays inactive and playback sounds unchanged.
Enable or disable the Sound Amplifier shortcut
Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Accessibility ➔ Tap on Sound Amplifier ➔ Enable or disable Sound Amplifier shortcut ➔ Tap on Got it. Once the shortcut is active, you can trigger Sound Amplifier from the Accessibility button or quick settings without opening the app again.
Disable the shortcut the same way if amplified audio sounds too aggressive or causes distortion on certain headphones. Turning it off stops the audio processing and returns playback to the original source volume.
If audio problems continue after adjusting Sound Amplifier, check the headphone volume level and Bluetooth codec settings separately, since those affect sound quality independently of this feature.
