App Drawer: Turn On or Off auf Oppo
On ColorOS the app drawer is not a single switch. It is one of three home screen layouts you pick from: Standard puts every installed app as an icon on the home screen, Drawer hides new apps in a separate list and only shows icons you place there manually, and Simple mode uses a larger-icon layout meant for basic use.
If your home screen keeps filling up with icons after every install, the phone is set to Standard mode. Switching to Drawer mode does not delete anything, it only changes where new apps appear and gives you a scrollable app list separate from your home screen pages.
To change it: open Settings, tap Home screen, Lock screen & Always-On-Display, then Home screen mode. Choose Drawer to get the separate app list, or Standard to turn the drawer off and put every app back on the home screen. Confirm with Apply.
Switching modes can rearrange existing home screen icons and folders, so expect to redo some shortcut placements afterward. If you mainly want fewer visible icons rather than a full drawer, moving apps into folders under Standard mode is a lighter alternative.
