Allow or Block App Autostart auf Oppo
On Oppo devices running ColorOS, many apps request permission to start themselves right after the system boots. This is meant to speed up notifications for messaging or mail apps, but it also means those apps occupy memory and processor time before you have opened them once.
The more apps hold this permission, the slower the phone feels after a restart, and the faster the battery drains during the day. ColorOS bundles this control in one place instead of spreading it across individual app settings.
Where to manage it
Go to Settings ➔ App management ➔ Auto-launch apps. You get a full list of installed apps with a toggle next to each one. Switching an app off stops it from starting itself; switching it on restores the permission.
Turn off autostart for apps you rarely use immediately after unlocking the phone, such as games or shopping apps. Keep it enabled for messaging, calling, or calendar apps that rely on instant background alerts.
If notifications from a specific app stop arriving after you disable its autostart, that is expected behavior, not a bug. Re-enable it for that app only, rather than turning autostart back on for everything.
