Change Camera Frame (Aspect Ratio) auf Oppo
The camera frame ratio decides how much of the sensor area ends up in your final photo. A square 1:1 crop uses less of the sensor than 4:3 or 16:9, which is why switching the ratio can change the reported resolution even though the lens itself stays the same.
On Oppo phones the setting sits directly in the camera controls, not in the system settings. Open Camera, then Menu, then tap Frame to see the available ratios.
From there you pick between 1:1 for square shots, 4:3 for the classic photo format, 16:9 for widescreen shots that match most phone and TV screens, and Full, which uses the maximum sensor area your model supports.
4:3 usually delivers the highest resolution because it matches the native sensor shape best. 16:9 and 1:1 crop pixels away to fit the ratio, so the megapixel count drops even though the scene looks similar.
If you shoot mainly for social media, 1:1 or 16:9 saves you cropping later. If you plan to print photos or crop them afterward, 4:3 or Full gives you the most detail to work with.
