Edit a Contact auf Oppo
Contact entries on Coloros are not locked once saved. Every field, including name, phone number, email and photo, can be changed again at any point.
This matters when a contact was imported from an old SIM card or a cloud backup with outdated information. Editing the entry directly avoids duplicate contacts, which can otherwise happen if you save the same person twice with different details.
Menu path to edit a contact
Open the Contacts app and follow this path:
Tap on Contacts ➔ Choose a Contact ➔ Tap on Edit contact ➔ Choose a Field ➔ Enter the Corresponding data and tap Save
Each field, such as the phone number or email address, can be edited on its own. You do not need to clear the whole entry to fix a single detail.
If the contact is linked to a Google or other cloud account, the change syncs automatically once you tap Save. Locally saved contacts, stored only on the device, only update on this phone.
If a contact keeps reverting to old data after editing, it is usually synced from an account that still holds the outdated version. In that case, update the contact in the linked account as well.
