Force Full-Screen Mode for Non-Optimized Apps auf Oppo
On Oppo phones running ColorOS, not every app automatically fills the entire display. If an app has not been optimized for full-screen use, the system keeps the status bar and navigation bar visible, even on devices with a notch or punch-hole camera.
ColorOS lets you override this per app, but the result depends on how the app itself handles screen scaling. Some apps stretch cleanly to the edges once enabled. Others show black bars or a slightly cropped layout, because their interface was never designed for a borderless screen.
To enable it, go to Settings ➔ Display & brightness ➔ More ➔ Screen display ➔ Full screen display by app. From there, find the app in the list and switch the toggle on.
If the toggle has no visible effect, the app likely does not support full-screen scaling at all. In that case, check for an app update first, since developers sometimes add this support later.
When to leave the setting off
Some apps rely on fixed UI elements near the screen edges, like control buttons in older games. Forcing full-screen mode on these can push interactive elements out of reach. If that happens, switch the toggle back off for that specific app.
