Create a Local Backup (Storage & Backup) auf Oppo
ColorOS offers a local backup option as an alternative to online backups stored in the cloud. This is useful when mobile data is limited, Wi-Fi is unavailable, or you prefer to keep personal data off external servers.
A local backup covers contacts, messages, call logs, system data and installed apps. App data itself, such as saved logins or game progress inside individual apps, is not included, only the apps are reinstalled after a restore.
To start one, open Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Back up and reset ➔ Back up & restore ➔ Local backup ➔ New backup. Select the categories you want to include and tap Start.
On the next screen, choose whether the backup should be saved to internal phone storage or to external storage if a memory card is inserted. Pick external storage when you plan to move the backup to another device or free up internal space.
A local backup does not replace a cloud backup for cross-device transfers. It works best as a quick recovery point on the same phone, for example before a system reset or major update.
