Turn Power Saving Mode On or Off auf Oppo
Power saving mode on Oppo phones running Coloros reduces battery drain by limiting several system functions at once. Screen brightness drops automatically, the display turns off after just 15 seconds of inactivity, and background synchronisation for apps is disabled.
This combination explains why messages, emails, or app updates can arrive late while the mode is active. It also explains why the screen feels dimmer than usual, even with brightness set manually beforehand.
To turn Power saving mode on or off, go to Settings ➔ Battery ➔ Power saving mode. From there you can enable or disable the toggle at any time, even while the phone is charging.
Each affected setting, such as screen timeout or background sync, returns to its normal behavior the moment you switch the mode off. If your battery still drains fast after disabling it, check individual apps for high background usage instead, since Power saving mode only addresses system-wide settings.
Use this mode when you need extra runtime during a busy day, and turn it off again once you are back near a charger or need instant notifications.
