Set Up a Proxy Server for Wi-Fi auf Oppo
A proxy server sits between your Oppo phone and the websites you visit. Instead of your real IP address, sites only see the address of the proxy, which helps with anonymous browsing and can bypass some network restrictions.
The setting only applies to a specific Wi-Fi network and only becomes available once that network is connected. There is no proxy option for mobile data on ColorOS, so this fix only helps while you are on Wi-Fi.
To set it up, open Settings ➔ Wi-Fi, then tap the menu icon next to your connected network. From there select Proxy and choose either Manual or Auto-Config.
With Manual, you enter the proxy hostname and port yourself, which is the option most VPN or corporate proxies require. Auto-Config instead pulls the proxy settings from a URL provided by your network administrator or proxy service.
If pages suddenly fail to load or logins break after saving the proxy, double check the hostname and port, or switch the option back to None to confirm the proxy itself is the cause.
