Restore Deleted Photos and Videos from the Trash auf Oppo
Oppo's Gallery app moves every deleted photo or video into a temporary holding area instead of erasing it right away. This area, called Recently deleted, keeps the file for 30 days from the moment you delete it.
Coloros relies on this built-in trash to give you a safety net after accidental deletions. As long as the 30-day window has not passed, you can pull the file back into your main albums with a few taps.
Once the 30-day period ends, Coloros wipes the file from internal storage automatically. At that point no in-app recovery method works anymore, and third-party recovery tools rarely succeed on modern flash storage.
To restore a photo or video before the deadline, follow this path:
Tap on Photos ➔ Tap on Albums ➔ Tap on Recently deleted ➔ Tap and hold a Photo/Video ➔ If desired, select other Photos/Videos ➔ Tap on Restore
If a file already fell outside the 30-day window, check whether you synced it to a cloud backup or a linked Google Photos account beforehand. That is often the only remaining source once the local trash has cleared the item.
