Auto-Enable Power Saving Mode at a Set Battery Level auf Oppo
On Oppo phones running Coloros, power saving mode usually needs a manual tap once the battery bar turns low. That works fine if you are watching your phone, but it fails the moment you are busy and the battery quietly drops from 20 percent to zero.
Coloros includes a setting that removes this gap. You can define a battery percentage between 5 and 75 percent, and the system switches on power saving mode by itself the instant that level is reached.
Where to find the setting
Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Battery ➔ Tap on Power saving mode ➔ Enable or disable Turn on at specified battery level ➔ Set a Battery level. Once enabled, the phone applies the standard power saving restrictions - reduced background activity, dimmed performance, limited sync - as soon as your chosen threshold is crossed.
Set the level higher, around 40 to 50 percent, if you need the battery to last through a full day without charging. Choose a lower level, closer to 15 or 20 percent, if you only want the extra buffer during the final stretch before your phone dies.
If apps still run slower than expected after power saving mode kicks in, check whether a separate performance or battery optimization list is restricting that specific app, since automatic power saving mode affects the whole system rather than individual apps.
