Connect via Wi-Fi Direct auf Oppo
Wi-Fi Direct lets your Oppo phone connect straight to another device without a router, hotspot or mobile data. It works for phone-to-phone transfers, screen mirroring on some TV sticks, and pairing with compatible smart appliances.
The feature only works if both devices support Wi-Fi Direct and have it switched on at the same time. If one side has the setting closed, or the screen has timed out and put the radio to sleep, the other device simply will not appear in the list.
To turn it on and start a connection on your Oppo, go to Settings ➔ Wi-Fi ➔ Advanced settings ➔ Wi-Fi Direct. The phone scans automatically and lists every visible device nearby under Choose an Available device.
Tap the device you want to link with. The other side needs to accept the incoming request, or have its own Wi-Fi Direct screen open at the same moment, depending on what type of device it is.
If you only need to move files between two Oppo phones and both are signed into the same account, a dedicated share tool may work faster than Wi-Fi Direct. Use Wi-Fi Direct instead when the target device has no shared account, such as a TV stick or a third-party phone.
Keep both devices reasonably close together and unlocked while pairing. Distance, a locked screen or an active battery saver can all stop the connection from completing.
