Turn On Automatic Network Selection auf Realme
When automatic network selection is turned off, your Realme phone stops scanning for the strongest available signal and stays connected to a single carrier instead. This setting matters most after roaming abroad, since manual carrier searches there often disable the automatic mode without a clear notice.
With automatic selection active, the phone constantly checks for the best available network and switches back to your home carrier once you are back in its coverage area. Leaving it disabled can cause weak signal, dropped calls, or unexpected roaming charges if the phone locks onto a foreign network by mistake.
To turn it back on, go to Settings ➔ SIM card & mobile data. On dual-SIM devices, pick the SIM card you want to adjust, then tap Carrier and switch on Auto select.
Keep automatic selection off only if you deliberately need to stay on a specific network, for example during testing or when a provider offers better coverage locally than the default carrier. In every other case, automatic selection saves manual work and avoids being stuck on a weak or wrong network.
