Play Tone When Call Connects auf Samsung
On some Samsung phones the ring back tone stays silent after you dial a number, even though the call connects normally on the other end. This happens because the option responsible for the connection tone sits inside the call settings and often ships turned off after a system update.
The tone itself is not a network signal. It is a short local sound your phone plays once the carrier confirms the call setup, separate from anything the other person hears on their end.
To turn it back on, open Phone ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Call alerts and ringtone. There you find the switch for Play tone when call connects. Enable it if you want the confirmation sound back, or disable it if you prefer silence while a call connects.
If the switch is already on but you still hear nothing, check your media or ringtone volume first, since this setting only plays the tone through the audio channel and does not raise the volume for you. A muted call profile or a connected Bluetooth device with its own output level can also block the sound even though the setting is correctly enabled.
